"It’s very easy to lose touch with your own health needs in a busy life. Sarah’s programme has encouraged me to focus more on myself and given me easy to understand and excellent tools to improve both my physical and mental health. I enjoy food more now and suffer fewer negative effects from eating as we have identified several trigger foods to eliminate and beneficial substitutes for these.

At first I was sceptical but actually now I have seen the light would 100% recommend. I am so glad I have had the opportunity to be on this journey and the outcomes are ones that will be literally life-changing. "

"I've struggled with my weight for a number of years and as I am in peri-menopause with a high stress job, I have found weight loss increasingly difficult and frustrating with little to no results. I have no interest to go on 'the jabs' and quick weight loss diets as I know, ultimately, the weight will go back on. Sarah helped me recognise unhealthy habits I'd picked up from trendy diet plans and gave me practical tools to break them. I'm now much more aware of blood sugar balancing and how different foods and drinks affect me personally. She has also provided me with a number of tools to regulate cortisol levels and build in meaningful relaxation habits into daily routines. All of these tools are having an impact on my overall health and wellbeing. I'm incredibly grateful for her support and would highly recommend Sarah's nutritional coaching to anyone struggling with managing their diet."

"In the beginning the goal was to lose weight to prevent medication for type 2 diabetes and to come off high blood pressure tablets, but over the weeks reviewing my time management would help elevate this. Sorting my time management has been a game changer and putting a housekeeping schedule in place has given me the focus to now concentrate on the healthy eating and allowing more time for activity and exercise. Sarah has opened my eyes to the ad hoc mess that is my life and with weekly goals focus and motivation helped me now have structure. Meeting with Sarah with her plan, expert guidance and motivation has given me the confidence to enjoy life again. I feel like I finally have control over every aspect of my life again. Sarah is non-judgmental and caring along with her confidence delivered a programme that has delivered improvements in my life that are long-lasting and sustainable."

When I first met Sarah we had an initial conversation as I was feeling fed up around my health and wellbeing. I have asthma, diabetes and significant mobility problems due to spinal injury. So am limited in what I can do without repercussions the following days. I wanted to find a way to improve my health and mobility, improve my diabetes, and set some realistic goals. Although my weight loss didn’t happen as much as I would have liked initially, my diabetes was under better control and my mobility was better, my physical shape changed. One of my goals was to walk round the lake without crutches - I have completed this several times. I have improved my diet, thanks to Sarah's help and guidance and I am less likely to reach for unhealthy snacks and options. Now 3 months on I have lost 16kg. I would recommend Sarah as a coach - she is supportive without being patronising and recognises the challenges of individual persons. We can't all be runners.

"I sought health coaching to help me deal with low energy levels and a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Working with Sarah has been extremely helpful in addressing deficiencies in my diet and eating habits. I realised, with her guidance, that I could help to address the symptoms of CFS by ensuring that I was eating regularly and well. We began with small achievable aims such as ensuring I ate breakfast every day. She guided me to include each of the food groups/types (carbs, proteins and fibre) by making practical suggestions for meal plans. I was also encouraged to snack on energy giving foods at regular intervals during the day. At the point of beginning to work with Sarah I was fatigued, demotivated and not eating regularly as I did not know where to start. She has helped me to connect food intake with energy levels thus enabling me to be more active through the day. Her guidance on maintaining stable blood sugar levels has helped me to eliminate a lot of previous exhaustion and sleeping during the day and I am now more regularly active as a result. This has a direct impact on my mood. We have also identified foods that may have been causing spikes of anxiety and racing heartbeats and I can now avoid these. Sarah has been a patient and kind listener who is nonjudgmental and very supportive. She has helped me to formulate strategies to deal with some difficult personal family situations and my renewed interest in taking care of myself through nutrition and activity has increased my resilience to these challenges. I would recommend Sarah on the basis of her ability to listen and identify relevant issues to be addressed in a clear and achievable way. Her advice is clear and easy to follow without being overwhelming. I also felt comfortable sharing personal information in the knowledge that everything would be treated confidentially and she was kind and empathetic. I owe Sarah many thanks for giving me a set of tools I can use everyday to improve my physical and mental health."
